Mid July Ghost Festival 2008

This year the festival falls on Thursday. Half the roads in Keelung are blocked off from 5:30pm to 11:30pm for the parade cars. It was a nightmare trying to get home.

The parade did not seem as lively this year. I suppose partly because it falls on a work day, and the other on a slowing economy.
